- 1 / 5By Bill BOrdered food from Park Tavern through Grub Hub and in the Mac and Cheese was a black bug stuck in the cheese. When I called up the restaurant and talked to the manager Jason he said it may be a fruit fly, which it obviously wasn't, it was way too big for a fruit fly. He said sorry but "stuff happens". I would post a picture of it but it is truly gross. I don't think it is a sanitary place and judging by the managers comments that meal may be par for the course. I will never eat their food again. - 5 / 5By A Google UserThe Park Tavern though it is also a bar and bowling alley, has its own chef. He does a monthly or so chef's dinner. A multi course pairing of what looks like great food with okay wines and/or craft beers. I dine there when i can, the pizza is pretty darn good and I'm never disappointed. The wings are really good, and the steak trio sandwich is also very good. The wait staff is pleasant and efficient. If you're looking for ambiance, well you wont get strolling strings and white tablecloths, but there are plenty of TV's showing sporting events and trivia gamesJanuary 11, 2017
